We brought Ruby to Lulu’s after months of grooming drama—and I mean drama. Ruby was rehomed to us about six months ago, and let’s just say… she came with a spicy personality. The first night I had her she sliced open my hand with her sharp teeth. Although she has become tolerable with us, if a stranger got too close? Chomp. Our tiny tornado was 86’d from Petco after a snapping incident (RIP, last groomer’s nerves). I tried to handle grooming at home for a while, but let’s be real—my skills pale in comparison to the pros. Nice and friendly staff, however I brought my 2 dogs in, one a mini schnauzer and the other a jack Russel mix. I asked for them to clean up my Jack Russel and cut him shorter but when I picked him up, I don’t even think they did anything besides a bath because his hair was still mangy looking and that cost me $40. They cut my mini schnauzer and didn’t even tell me. I had to figure it out when I went to go pet him and felt the scab! I’ve never picked my schnauzer up with an injury from the groomers except from this place. I chose this place cause it wasn’t as pricey as the other places, had good reviews, and I like that the dogs are groomed out in the open and not in the back behind a door but I guess you get what you pay for.

Disappointed with inconsistent pricing When I first called, I was told it would be $75–85, but when I arrived, they said my dog had some mats and it would be $125 for that first appointment — and that future visits within 4 weeks would be $85. Today I brought her back for the next appointment, and they tried to charge $130. When I reminded them of what I was told, they adjusted it to $95, but the lack of consistency is frustrating. I don’t mind paying fairly for good service, but I do expect transparency and clear communication upfront.

Lulu's is the absolute best groomer in the Vegas area. I have a dog with serious separation anxiety (seriously....he screams). After being banned from his last groomer for his screaming, a friend told me about Lulu's. Their prices are fair, about the same as everyone else. Here's the difference: the employees at Lulu's care about your dog, and will treat them like their own. They don't believe in cages, and all grooming tables are in view of the dogs, so there's no anxiety there. If your dog has a tough time like mine does, you can expect that they will receive extra pets, cuddles, and a lap to sit on when they need it.
