We adopted our puppy from Lucky Paws Rescue. We are so impressed with the care and love their pups receive while in their foster homes. He had been socializing with other dogs at the foster home and was already learning to potty outside! Our new puppy was up to date on all of his shots when he came home with us and they gave us great instructions for when he’ll be due for the remainder of his vaccinations. Thank you Lucky Paws Rescue for rescuing these sweet dogs and finding loving homes for them 🥰

Lucky Paws Rescue is full of some of the most kind hearted people with generous caring souls. I met Christa via phone interview for our girl ruby and I dunno if all phone interviews last that long but I felt like we had known each other for a long time, and it was abundantly clear she was dedicated to all the pups she was trying to get adopted or fostered out. And I met jodie upon going to pick up our girl ruby from her then owners. Also, it was evident she cared so deeply for these dogs it was hard to watch her heart break when Ruby's past owner walk away, but the smile on her face for me taking ruby home was clear she loved ruby endlessly. These people are some of the best you can ask for in the rescue business, I hope they're around forever.

I cannot begin to portray how dedicated and well intentioned this rescue is. As a volunteer with this rescue myself, I see how wholeheartedly the individuals running this rescue devote themselves to this rescue and the animals involved. They are super understanding and put so much of themselves into the entire process of animal rescue, from surrender, rescue, and pregnancy to adoptions and events. I myself have adopted from this organization and they are so interested in following their dogs throughout their entire journey. I am so biased, but thank you LPR for what you do for our community, dogs, and for the opportunities you have opened for me and my rescue dog!

Even though Lucky Paws was full when I contacted them, they didn't just leave me hanging. They assisted me in finding support for an injured stray I found, and provided me helpful resources along the way. They really do love animals and I'm thankful the Sumter area has this rescue!

Caring and devoted volunteers including the founder. I have fostered. Donated , helped with fundraisers. Lucky paws is an awesome rescue who always puts the animals first. I don't know anyone who is more dedicated than Christa and Jodie. I appreciate all their hard work.nothing but positive vibes.
