My cats love Dr Addie. The cat we were having problems with after his rescue, was diagnosed with a dental disease during surgery for a couple extractions, which in his case turned into several extractions. After receiving this care, he was finally able to eat and he's just a healthy, heavier (lol) and extremely happy cat. All 4 of our rescues go see her for all their needs. 2 outside, 2 inside. That's the clinic to take your cats! Plus they have another young man that's joined their group. Dr Hendrix. This guy is sharp as a whip! Knowledge abounding as he saw my old rescue dog, that has cancer at Dr Bell's. Explaining in detail how his cancer is now spreading. And FYI, for those who may not know, he does perform euthanasia, which is a relief to me, my boy is on limited time now.

Stopped in today as my dog was experiencing systems of a foreign object , he was painting throwing up everywhere, I stopped in a bit before lunchtime, as the staff was knowledgeable and professional , however I was disappointed in turning us away as the doctor was on lunch. I understand lunch times was posted and it’s not an emergency vet, however I’m a service plumber as a professional that deals with emergencies I was pretty upset that we were turned away due to the reasoning, as a professional I can’t turn away emergencies and have to eat lunch if any during my time of work. The staff was friendly and helpful to give out information which was very helpful, just kind of found the reasoning as a bit of a lack of excuse. As I had to travel an hour for an emergency. Unfortunately I can’t leave zero stars, so here we are. Let me start with my appointment for my two dogs was at 1600 and we weren‘t seen until 1710. I understand that things get busy but this is a situation where professional communication makes such a difference in how your customers view your business. That seems to be the root issue here as there was zero professional communication during the visit. The vet came into the room with a very defensive attitude and I just assumed she was having an off day as other times my dogs and I have been there over the PAST FIVE YEARS we haven’t had awful experiences. My first dog was seen and vaccinated no issue other than me feeling the entire time like the vet and her tech were inconvenienced for having to do their job. Again working with the public

I’m new to Sumter and had any knowledge of a good vet, but…Omg! Where do I begin?! This place is absolutely amazing! I’m extremely happy with the service they provided. The atmosphere is very clean, comfortable, and warming. Dr. Addie Williams is attentive and caring. My dog Penny, broke two nails badly, on 2 separate occasions. Dr. Williams was able to see her the same day. Before contacting this veterinarian, I was calling around to different places looking to be serviced and to get Penny some relief. Always have a great vet visit with Dr. Williams she always explains what she is doing and suggests the best options for my dogs and they are very knowledgeable and they are always friendly and trustworthy.
