Logan Square Animal Hospital

Dr. B tried to help one of my senior cats, Pablo, after being diagnosed with a canceres tumor on his leg. Even with the odds against him, he was more than willing to help me try to give him a little bit more time with us. After everything was going south for him, Dr. B was very compassionate and understanding helping me with the grieving. He truly loves what he does and is great with all his animals.

I’m am so frustrated with this hospital!! I brought my new puppy in for her vaccination and because she had an ear infection. The first appointment went great, and I paid $214. As I was checking out, I knew I needed to schedule her 3-week follow-up. The receptionist told me, “Your next visit will be at no cost,” which I thought was perfect. Yesterday, I called to schedule her 3-week second dose. The person I spoke with said they could see her at 11:15. When I arrived, they said there was no appointment scheduled. I instantly panicked because I live EXTREMELY far, I work a lot, and this was one of my only days off for a week and a half. She also needs her shots for daycare. The doctor agreed to see her, but it wasn’t until after the medication was given that I found out it wasn’t just two

I saw two different vets here and both had just horrible bedside manner. One of them laughed at my questions, they both gave us necessary medicine (my current vet told me) which gave my cat diarrhea for no good reason. The office itself is old and gross. The poor support staff are clearly extremely annoyed and frustrated with the vets that boss then around rudely, and then the support staff is expected to pick up the pieces. Also, one time when I was waiting in the lobby, I heard the support staff get a call about after surgery care, and the vet said to tell the caller “close the account, we don’t do post op care” are you joking???

These guys saved my cat!! My cat had a terrible accident, she jumped from our balcony and landed on the fence. We were lucky and the animal hospital got her in the operation room immediately. They did a great job treating her and patching her back. She is now in great shape and running around like she used to. I am extremely thankful for their professional treatment, their care, and their fair price (that was mostly covered by the insurance). I'll always be your advocate, thank you!! The whole staff is meaningful, patient, understanding, and kind, and they have your pets' best interest at heart, and it shows in the work that they do. My fur baby (dog) is always excited to go there, which is hilarious! She will continue to be a patient here!
