We had a great experience with Dr. Buchanan! She was very attentive and spent time addressing our concerns and answering all of our questions. The staff were all very nice and accommodating & Winston loved his goodie bag!

Phenomenal experience. Doctor and nurse were very professional, patient and through! This is a new veterinarian office for dogs but it is extremely professional and patient for your loving pet. Our cat has had a reoccurring upper respiratory. Live well was able to get us in on a Saturday. Dr. Buchanan was incredible. She took a great deal of time examining him and provided treatment options. That made sense as opposed to dollars. We will be coming back here. They were incredible.

I’m incredibly grateful for the care and attention this clinic gave my cat during a really stressful time. The vets took my concerns seriously, explained things clearly, and were thorough with diagnostics instead of brushing anything off. They showed genuine compassion and made sure we had a plan moving forward. I would definitely bring my other pets here.

Genuinely one of the best experiences I've ever had with any type of healthcare. I took my 15yo dog to Livewell Animal Hospital of Alexandria for management of arthritis / IVDD pain and they were able to offer comprehensive services during the very first appointment: subcutaneous ketamine injections, acupuncture, medication management recommendations beyond just carprofen, physical therapy, etc. We were able to get the initial appointment and follow up appointments very quickly, and they seamlessly obtained his records from multiple out-of-state vets. They have a patient portal where they sent us videos of physical therapy exercises to do.
