Liberty Canine Academy

Unruly. Unmanageable. Disobedient. Uncontrollable. All those words described our Husky. Believe me when I say there was very little sweet about our dog, Sugar. We took her to Walt who trained her. Walt absolutely knows what he is doing and is a terrific trainer and dog handler. Sugar is a completely different dog after going through Liberty Canine Academy. I'm convinced Walt is one of the smartest people around when it comes to dogs.

I just recently had my dog Buster complete the 3 week board and train program with Walt at Liberty Canine Academy. I was beyond impressed and pleased with the progress he made within a few short weeks. He went from pulling and being very opinionated on walks to now confidently walking by my side. Walt was able to work on impulse control and work on his confidence around strangers. I even starting to expand my trust with him off leash in small doses. The training really felt personalized and tailored to Buster’s and my needs. I thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Walt and Liberty Canine. Thanks to Walt for saving my relation with my puppy. I did the "adopt a puppy during the pandemic" without realizing how much work a puppy would be. Willow was a high energy golden retriever. Walt was recommended by a friend who was familiar with his academy. We worked with Walt to put her through his puppy training program in order to properly socialize her and introduce her to basic commands. During the months that he worked with her, she went from being a slightly out of control (but lovable) puppy to a properly crate and leash trained puppy. Walt did an amazing job with my hound mix. 1 1/2 y/o i adopted that had no training. She now walks great on a leash and follows an assortment of commands. Very happy with results! Highly recommend Liberty Canine Academy.
