We adopted Mayor McCheese back in July. The process was extremely simple and smooth. Wonderful ladies explained everything in detail and answered every question with enthusiasm. The kitten was so well socialized at the shelter! She’s like a puppy! Our resident cat needed some time to adjust but they are good friends now. Thank you!

We got Rowdy Pickles from here earlier this year in February and the service was INCREDIBLE!! What originally was a stray drop off ended up being an adoption through them and I remember being so excited to pick up my little highway stray. Everyone was so supportive and sweet and I just wanted to share that! He’s since grown, but I wanted to show him off because he’s such a sweetheart and I’m so happy!

Kira has been a great addition to the family, and gets along quite well with my cat! She’s sassy, playful, and makes laps around my apartment within seconds. The adoption process was quick and easy for me! I walked in, she sat on my lap, and I said she’s coming home with me, talked to the front desk and we were in my car in about 10 minutes! The other cat with her is my boy Archie. Soon they will be able to snuggle together but they chase eachother around and play together! I have so many photos of them together so I had to share

Thought we had a squirrel in our chimney and didn't have a net that would work if we opened the flue. Like 10 minutes later, the nicest young lady showed up to help us out. She asked us to open our doors and got to work. Turns out we had two birds in our chimney! She coerced them to exit the flue, and they "flue" out the door...

Lucy (formerly Foxy) has been a great adoptee. She’s very sweet, loves cuddling, and enjoys playing with her toys and chasing birds and squirrels in the backyard. We found the Lewisville shelter very clean and the staff extremely helpful. An all around wonderful experience.
