We had an excellent experience with Off Leash and our trainer Sam. We sent our 5 month old Vizsla to a board and train so he could have a strong start at being a confident and obedient dog and we are so happy with the foundation he now has. While he his still a puppy and has a lot of that puppy energy, he is much calmer and more confident on our walks and in everyday life. Sam made the board and train process great! He posted daily pictures and videos so we could see what Ozzy was learning and where he was going. The daily updates also made us feel at ease and that he was in good hands. On pick up day, Sam was very flexible and took his time showing us what Ozzy learned and allowed us to practice for as long as we needed. He sent us daily updates, which already exceeded what other companies offered, but he went even further by sharing actual videos of our dog’s progression. Being able to see her learning, improving, and genuinely enjoying her time with him made all the difference. She looked completely happy which gave us so much peace of mind. I wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for the outstanding training services we received for Katie:a 6 month 40 lb Bernese Mountain Dog . Katie joined our family in August . She had a pretty rough beginning . Katie went to boarding school for 2 weeks. It was amazing . The progress is amazing.. Now at 9 months and 75 lb , Katie is very smart. Our home training had gotten lenient. Consistency in daily training is imperative. The problem had been ME , the pushover. I reached out to our trainer, she promptly came to our home to assess. Sam did an exceptional job with our dog, Maverick. His excellent communication skills and attention to Maverick’s needs made us feel at ease throughout the process. Sam kept us consistently updated on Maverick’s progress, and we are thrilled with the improvements since his stay. We are excited about the potential for further training and touch-ups if necessary. I signed up for the Elite package with Off Leash Training DFW for both of my dogs—a 6‑month‑old Dogo Argentino (Pekoe) and a 2‑year‑old Lab mix (Lola). Training them together at home was nearly impossible since all they wanted to do was wrestle and antagonize each other. Lola also struggled with severe anxiety and reactivity toward other dogs, while Pekoe, being a large breed, needed a strong foundation from the start. Paying for the extra two weeks of board & train felt absolutely worth it. I’m incredibly grateful that Megan was assigned as their trainer. From the beginning, she took the time to understand each dog’s personality, my concerns, and the goals I had for them.
