This beautiful 2yr old girl Mamacita is available for adoption at this location. They offer many opportunities for theses beautiful animals to find a home. I had a pleasant experience at the Valentine's Day picnic from start to finish. They are well organized, friendly and well informed about the care of the animals they have waiting for a permanent home, a day out and more.

I adopted my cat, Isabella, from the League City Animal Shelter back in June 2021, and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions of my life. She came in as a stray, and thanks to the wonderful staff here, she found her way to me. Since the day I brought her home, she has filled my life with so much love, comfort, and affection. She’s become my constant companion, my little shadow, and my heart. I truly cannot imagine my life without her now. Her personality has blossomed in ways I never expected — she is gentle, loving, and incredibly bonded to me. I’m so grateful to this shelter for giving her a chance and giving me the opportunity to adopt the sweetest cat I’ve ever known. In between jobs and money is tight.League City Animal Care's Pet Pantry gave me free dog food, dog bed and dog toys for my fur baby Angel. And the guy at the front desk was super duper friendly. Places like this are a blessing in times of need

I am a frequent visitor of Harris County animal shelter and had never been to league city animal control because it’s so far away from my house, so I was expecting something similar In terms of environment and customer service. To my epic surprise, the facility was so clean and organized, and the staff was exceptional! The staff was so friendly, personable, and accommodating. It really felt like a great experience from start to finish. I will also say that the accommodations for the animals in league city is far better than what I have seen at Harris County. If you live far away, but see a dog available, I would highly recommend making the drive. It was definitely worth it for me. I left with the most amazing little animal, and I cannot wait to make her a part of our family.

I adopted a dog Mary Jane, it was very easy to adopt. I got to take her for two days on a pajama party to see how she would fit in my home before adoption. She was up to date with her medical meaning she was already spayed, microchipped, rabies, etc.
