Mittens was referred here by Amanda with Heavenly Paws where I adopted her. The staff was great, friendly & comforting about both of our nervousness. She had a smooth intake and procedure, along with prompt updates on her. The cost was extremely reasonable and they did a wonderful job. She is 3 days in and recovering well. 10/10!

Just moved to York and wasn’t excited about finding a new vet. I found Leader Heights Animal Hospital through Google reviews and booked our first appointment online about two weeks out, easy process and no pressure. Then in the gap before the visit, my dog Archie (wire fox terrier) ripped a dew claw and wouldn’t leave it alone. I called to ask what to do and they gave me phone advice at no charge, from a doctor. That alone earned a lot of trust. At the appointment, Dr. Angie Cheek took her time, asked about the dew claw right away, and walked me through two reasonable next steps without pushing one over the other. Fantastic experience! This was my Blue Heeler’s first time at the vet and he was nervous, but the staff and vet were amazing with him. Everyone was so friendly and reassuring—several vet techs even stopped by to say hi. He did great, and we couldn’t have asked for a better first visit.

LHAH really does an outstanding job of taking care of your pet and the owners. We had a lot of questions and they were so kind, patient and helpful. They try to save you money with different options. Everyone is so friendly and willing to accomplish whatever needs to be done.

They really care about my dog and took such good care of her during her recent dental surgery. It’s easy to get my records for insurance and there are several ways to reach them. They are all extremely pleasant and kind. My dog isn’t a big fan of any vet but she’s actually not stressed to go here.
