Lake Norman Humane

I adopted a beautiful 6 yo Tabby Siamese boy who is very traumatized from the death of his mother, 4 months prior. I received follow-up phone calls from lake norman humane which were a great help in our journey. He evolves every day into a wonderful pet.

I got my dog Stevie from here back in September. It was a super easy adoption process, they took all of the proper precautions as he was recovering from being sick, and they had his neutering appointment already scheduled for us to bring him back just a few weeks later. They sent us home with a bag of food, toys, his medication, and all of his paperwork. They even contacted me after the adoption to make sure everything was going well. They seem to really care about all of their animals there and I would definitely come back and see them when I’m looking for my next pet!

We are first time fosters to a wonderful dog, Dorothy. We are so impressed with the care, compassion, & professionalism they provide to the animals in their care. They are very helpful to us as fosters, and we appreciate all that they do for the benefit of all the animals there! Caryl & Tom Leone

The team here is wonderful. They take very good care of the animals here! We adopted our very lively and loving kitten Squirrel here in October and we were impressed at how intentional they were in making sure she was healthy and ready for adoption before allowing us to adopt her.

I got to adopt my best friend Rufus from here on Aug 22,2023. And when I tell you he brings light to my life everyday, I mean it. If you thinking about adding an animal into your home, do because I promise you won’t regret it. 💕
