I truly cannot say enough amazing things about this veterinary clinic. From day one, they have gone above and beyond for my dog and me. My dog is reactive, and as a first-time dog owner, that can be incredibly overwhelming — but this team has always made us feel supported, understood, and completely welcome. They are so accommodating and thoughtful in how they handle him. Every staff member is patient, kind, and willing to do whatever is needed to make sure both my dog and I feel comfortable. There is never judgment — only compassion, flexibility, and genuine care. They’ve been with us since he was just a puppy, and they have truly walked alongside me every step of the way. So thankful to Kruger for helping our little boy. After our morning walk, he starting to vomit and to have a very bad case of diarrhea. I rushed it to Kruger thinking someone poisoned him. We did not have to wait, after quickly explaining the situation they took him for treatment. I was very panicked, they offered me some water and reassured me that everything will be fine, for which I am grateful, it is so important to feel some support in such moments. They gave him fluids, made sure he is hydrated, gave me some instructions for after care and some medicine and we were sent on our way. He ate something he should not have, nothing serious.

I had my 2 Boston Terriers in for our first visit to Kruger Animal Hospital since moving from Springfield, IL. One dog is 10, the other 5, so different issues/concerns regarding age. Dr McAfee was excellent! She thoroughly examined my dogs, asked pertinent questions about their habits, activities and offered helpful suggestions for their best health. She was friendly, the dogs warmed to her and I felt like she genuinely cared for my girls. I definitely recommend Kruger to anyone looking for a new Veterinary clinic or those pet owners who may not feel like they are getting full service veterinary care with a gentle, knowledgeable and reasonably priced experience. When my cat unexpectedly got sick, Dr. Bleem went above and beyond to make sure my little guy got better. He was always available for questions during my cat’s recovery and I couldn’t be more impressed with this team’s level of service and communication during that stressful time💫

I came to the office for an urgent visit first thing in the morning when our dog suddenly began having labored breathing with no known cause. I could tell she was declining quickly, and since our regular vet couldn’t get us in until the end of the day, I was worried we didn’t have that much time. When I called this office, they told us to come right in. Two techs were waiting outside to help me carry our girl in, since she couldn’t walk by that point.
