Joyful Animal Hospital

I wanted to take the time to write this review because we are truly grateful. We recently went through one of the hardest experiences of our lives when our beloved cat Frank was diagnosed with cancer, which started in his paw. Sadly, he passed away about two weeks ago. Throughout the entire process, the doctor and his team were incredibly kind, compassionate, and supportive. It was clear how much he truly cares about the animals he treats—he loved our Frank too. When it came time to say goodbye, my husband and I felt completely supported and knew we were in the right place. The staff was just as wonderful—so kind, gentle, and respectful during an incredibly emotional time. Even though situations like ours are probably routine for them, they never treated us like just another appointment.

Definitely won’t be going back there. I went in because my dog was acting weird and not eating or socializing, when he’s usually too energetic for me to handle. But sources online says he needed to see a vet. So I waited till they opened and went in with my dog and his paperwork, hoping to find out what’s going on. The Old woman at the front desk had a scowl when I walked in and treated me like I’m trespassing, she was very rude. And seemed even more agitated because I did’t have an appointment. Long story shor, no one was willing to hear what I had to say, and I’m not going to waste time dictating the entire interaction. A few years back I brought my very sick cat here and its been our household vet clinic ever since. Helpful staff, realistic prices, and genuine care for what they do. As long as I'm local, this is the only place I'll trust with my fur babies!

My first Vet i had for my animals was Bridgewater that was in 1985 until 1997 the I want to Newport when it used to be on Durham road and I think his name was Doctor Patterson, I loved him, but one day he just up and left, then I want to woman humane, and then back to Bridgewater now it's 2017 same Vet is still I was so happy I had 3 dogs and 3 cats, now goose the one cat was always getting in trouble he was seen 6 times so fast forward the following year I order special cats treats from chewy and the girl at desk does not approve, I call and ask why she said goose wasn't seen this year yet, I said you saw him 6 times the previous so she had attitude and I said I can get them off the shelves at Newport animals hospital which is down the road. Been taking my kitty’s here for the past 5 years the doctor is super friendly and knowledgeable, the place is always clean. Definitely recommend if your a new pet owner like I was.
