Isthmus Veterinary Care

This is a great neighborhood vet office. The staff is always really nice. We have a dedicated vet that we see. They can also usually get us an appointment within a day and sometimes same day. It's smaller than other vet offices we have been to, which is something I really like. Our dog Bert has been going there for about 4 years and is happy and healthy.

Dr. Gunby and his team at Isthmus Veterinary Clinic are fantastic! Our cat was recently referred to Dr. Gunby for PU surgery and we are so grateful that he was able to perform the procedure. They fit us in quickly and everyone we worked with was professional, kind and compassionate. Dr. Gunby is clearly passionate about his work and his patients and he and his team helped us through a very stressful procedure and recovery. I was really nervous about caring for our kitty post-op and they very patiently answered all my emails and calls and offered reassurance and assistance. Our cat is doing well and has a new lease on life thanks to Dr. Gunby.

The best vet. I felt my cat was so known, loved, and cared for. Staff very patient with this very anxious cat mom. Prices reasonable. Wonderful follow up care following dental surgery and active support for international travel. Update: Months later I’m still getting top quality care from a distance for my cat. Wish I could give ten stars.

We’ve been bringing our three animals here since we moved, and we were so lucky to find a vet we loved right away. The team at Isthmus Vet is incredible. They take the time to explain everything thoroughly and make sure we understand each step. If it weren’t for Dr. Gunby carefully walking me through the process and doing all the necessary testing, I probably never would’ve felt comfortable getting my senior dog’s teeth cleaned under anesthesia. I completely trust them with my three babies who mean the world to me. I’m so thankful for everything they’ve done. I couldn’t recommend them more!

Been coming for a couple of years and have had only positive experiences. They always have time for the pets they care for, whether it’s one more question, a last-minute appointment, etc. They keep things simple. We so appreciate everyone at this clinic.
