Irondequoit Animal Hospital

Our beloved Jaya ate a basket of socks, which led to one emergency surgery (removing socks in stomach and three more places along his intestine), followed by another a week later after he developed dehiscence. Dr. Kalis and the entire team at Irondequoit Animal Hospital were so, so wonderful to us. I can't remember a more stressful experience-- they found a way to get Jaya in lightning fast, and truly cared about him (and us). Dr. Kalis is such a gift. He's a get on the floor with your pup kind of guy, and definitely picked the right profession. Jaya is only alive today because of him, this practice, and their discernment regarding the level of emergency.

I cannot express how grateful I am for Irondequoit Animal Hospital. They are always so kind. I have not met one staff member that wasn’t incredibly sweet and a pleasure to work with. They work with what I can afford and never try to do any sneaky upselling of unnecessary treatments. They have also accommodated emergency appointments when needed. I can’t recommend them enough. So happy and lucky to bring my three cats here.

I had to find a new vet for the first time in decades, and I hit the jackpot! These folks are wonderful with my pups and with me! Clean office, minimal wait times, and they listened to my concerns and addressed them professionally and with compassion! I’m very picky, having vet professionals in my family, and I can 100% recommend IAH! So happy that I found them!

Our senior yellow lab puppy, who has always been and will be a puppy to us, has always received such amazing and loving treatment at this office. All staff members have been understanding, communicative, responsive, and wonderful to both our puppy-boy and us humans. Every doctor we’ve worked with has been incredibly caring, and the follow-up care is amazing. They’ve been accommodating, as much as possible, in extreme emergency situations, great in recommendations, and have always been very, in general, a pleasure to work with. We are so grateful for their care and team! ❤️

I have always felt supported from the front desk staff, techs & Doctors. Appreciate everyone helping us settle a new dog into our home and for all the support in the past during both difficult, emotional, and happy routine times!
