Met the Doc and staff on one of my worst days. After 17 years we had to say goodbye to our sweet girl and the ladies up front and the Doc could not possibly have been any more professional, compassionate, caring, or gentle...with Echo or with me and my daughter. Knowing how emotional saying goodbye is they allowed me to come in in the morning to do the paperwork and pay. I'm a heavily tattooed, heavily bearded, big guy and I felt comfortable enough there to sob in front of these complete strangers. Later, when it was time for her appointment my daughter and I didn't have to wait around a bunch of people. They very thoughtfully have a separate area and very quickly got us into a room. Dr Yogi and his entire staff are amazing and irreplaceable. They did all they could and went above and beyond for a week straight to try and save my boy Tysons life. Tyson loved them all and trusted them. We trust them whole heartedly. Tyson went over every day and they gave him fluids, ran blood constantly, did all they could. Unfortunately, it was his time, even only at age 7. They called me immediately, put him on oxygen so I could get there to say goodbye. Through that, they held my hand, held me, put a circle around him and held him, he had loving hands all over him when he passed away, they cried with me, Dr Yogi was right there with his staff to make sure he went over the rainbow bridge gently and with love. The doctor and staff were so kind. Had the unfortunate situation that required surgery on one of my very loved cats. Things didn’t go as we all anticipated. The surgery was a success but things went wrong very fast. The tech called to tell me that the vet was preforming CPR. When I arrived 20 minutes later he was still working on her. He didn’t want to give up due to the fact that this outcome was not even a possible outcome. When I asked that he stop, he turned to me and held me while I sobbed. The whole room was in tears. An xray showed that the tumor had spread to her lung causing it to collapse. Everyone at that office was so very kind and caring. I didn’t feel like I was grieving alone. I would highly recommend this practice to any animal lover.

We have moved around a lot over the years, so we have had 10 vets in the last 20 years, and this is the BEST VET and TEAM we have ever had. I drive from Altoona so that our fur babies can go there. We knew we loved Dr. Yogi and his team before, but a few months ago we found three little kittens under our shed. They were incredibly sick. The team was amazing! Two of the kittens healed up fast, while the smallest kitten eventually had to have her eye removed. She had to stay there for a few days before her surgery, they took such good care of her, they even let us talk to her over the phone. You can hear it their voices that they care about the animals that they treat, and I cannot stress how kind they are, not only to the patients that they treat, but to their families. When we met Dr. Yogi we were facing the devastating decision of mutilating our dog by removing her ears or ending her life after several complications following dual aural hematoma surgeries with another vet. Dr. Yogi not only gave us several options to fix the damaged ears but he offered us hope that our dog would recover. After months battling infections and being told she would have to lose her ear flap by the other vet, Dr. Yogi guided us on her path to recovery and saved her.
