Humane Society of Hopewell

I Just wanted to give a shout out to this incredible Group of people at Hopewell. My wife and I went in to add a kitten to our family and everyone there were so nice and informative and had just the cutest cats for us to choose from. We almost left with 3 cats! continue the good work y'all are doing. It was a pleasure 8^)

Every time I’ve come here, the team is kind and welcoming. Their team members care for the cats like their family and really work hard to help the community as much as they are able! This was one of the sweetheart kitties I met while I was there named Midnight. I wish I could take them all home!

If you are looking for a kitten, an adult, or a senior cat, this place is for you. When I got there, Amanda was the first person to greet me. She is so kind and helpful. This place is clean as well, and you can tell the cats are well taken care of due to all the toys and high places the cats can get to… And their chonkiness! I recommend this place.

Such a great experience with the Humane Society of Hopewell. They take amazing care of the kitties and are all so nice and great to work with. Anyone who is looking to adopt a cat, I highly recommend checking here!

So we were suppose to get a kitten from this place the first time we were waiting to a black and white tuxedo kitten. Lady who owns the place stated she would call us when they are ready. Never called or notified us . Tried giving this place a second chance . We went and filled out the application for the kitten we were wanting to add to our family. Brought documentation of our other 2 vaccines . Waited over a week just to tell us we were denied. We live on base are a military family whom has two cats and are cared for well , their were so many cats in their looking for homes. Yet you deny us . We were looking forward to bringing home. Such a waste of our time. I Do Not recommend going to this place . You would be better off going to Another rescue in Richmond , the Petersburg Animal shel
