Humane Society of Blue Ridge Adoption Center

Went to the dog park here. It was very clean, 2 areas for the dogs. A small area and large dog area. The turf is clean and there is also a covered area that allows you to sit out of the sun under.

I adopted my puppy this past weekend and this shelter is wonderful! The staff are so helpful and friendly. You can tell they really care about their animals. The adoption process was so easy and quick, too. I was really happy with our experience there.

Great park. A decent group of daily goers. Minus 1 star, I just think that the artificial grass weird. But it is always clean. We go almost daily each time we're in the area, multiple times a year

A few months ago I adopted my 2 kitties from here. I also started volunteering around that time. The staff are all knowledgeable, genuine, and wonderful with their clients (both the furry clients and human ones). You can tell the animals are well-placed and taken care of. The place is clean and well-organized. Most recently, I began fostering kitties and it has been a beautiful learning experience. I'm newer to the community and it has been such a blessing to see how many wonderful people here pour into it and have welcomed me and answered my questions. If you are considering adopting or volunteering, I highly encourage you to do so. Even if you don't have a ton of experience with animals there are things you can help with.
