Dr. Patterson is incredible! Decades of having pets means decades of veterinary visits and hoping to find the right one for you and your fur babies. We moved to Blue Ridge in 2020 and initially went with the vet clinic that was nearest to us. It had good reviews but the experience was less than satisfactory. We eventually went to Cohutta Veterinary Hospital and have been so incredibly happy with ALL of the doctors and staff. Our appointments are always on time, every provider is knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, and sympathetic. Our fur babies LOVE Cohutta and so do we!!!

Very nice office: clean and comfortable. Staff is Extremely accommodating and helpful. Vet is thorough and professional. They gave my kitty great care, and I appreciate how sympathetic everyone was and how much effort they put into taking care of her.

Dr. Patterson and his support staff went above and beyond to ensure my puppy had a safe spaying procedure. After a scary experience on a different protocol of drugs elsewhere, Dr. Patterson personally explained their particular protocol, his knowledge of the breed (Australian shepherd), and understood her MDRI sensitivity. We had a wonderful experience for this procedure. The staff kept me updated on our pup before I even had the chance to call and check myself. I would highly recommend this vet office for any pet’s needs, and will be working with them for years to come!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this veterinary team! From the moment we walked in, we felt completely at ease knowing Archie was in such caring and capable hands. Dr. Vic was outstanding. He took the time to thoroughly explain all of Archie’s needs and helped us understand how to care for him both now as a puppy and as he grows into an adult dog. He answered every question with patience and kindness, which meant so much to us as new puppy parents. Jaden was incredibly gentle and caring, making sure Archie felt comfortable during his visit. She went above and beyond to explain his home care and recovery instructions so we could confidently continue his care at home. That extra attention truly stood out. The front desk staff are also amazing — always welcoming us with smiles
