Homeward Bound Pet Rescue

The staff and volunteers are truly wonderful. Great communication throughout my adoption process, and they clearly love and care so much for these animals. The facility is well maintained and seems perfect for both big and little furballs. I highly recommend this shelter for adoption, donations, and volunteer opportunities. Are cats are such a big part of the family now that my son’s first word was “cat.”

We had a wonderful experience adopting our two sweet boys, Beau and Bear, from this amazing shelter. From the very beginning, the staff was incredibly accommodating—they adjusted their schedule to fit ours, which made the process so much easier. The facility was spotless, and it was clear that all the animals were well taken care of and genuinely loved. Thanks to them, our little family is now complete. We’re a happy home in Florida, and Beau and Bear are thriving. We’re beyond grateful for the care, support, and kindness we received. Highly recommend this shelter to anyone looking to adopt!

Excellent communication, compassionate in caring fosters and volunteers. The process was detailed yet simple as this rescue really wants to find homes for dogs. Solely rescues are so difficult to deal with, Deb, made the application process seamless and kept me informed along each step of the way. LOVE my little adopted from here. Their brick and mortar facility was clean and bustling with love and energy.

What an amazing animal rescue. The "guests" are treated royally & loved by entire staff & volunteers, me included. The screening process for adoption & fostering is organized very well. If they do not feel the pet is a good fit for your family dynamics, they will discuss the concerns & recommend another pet. They are always putting safety first. I highly recommend Homeward Bound. We became Sierra's foster parents due to our neighbor being unable to financially take care of her and also due to her declining health. Sierra is a loving fur-kid that loves to play with other dogs and loves everyone. When we reached out to Homeward Bound they jumped in and started assisting us with food, a new leash & collar. They scheduled and paid for all her vaccinations and her being spayed. Homeward Bound was able to take her into their care immediately following her surgery. The entire staff that we worked with was very caring and professional. We couldn't have asked for a better outcome for Sierra. In their care we are positive that Sierra will finally get her fur-ever home. ❤️❤️❤️
