Hudson Highlands Veterinary Medical Group - Hopewell Junction

My husband and I just moved back to the area and we were looking for a vet that showed the same compassion and love as our last. After “dating” a few in the area I’m beyond satisfied with our decision to make it official (lol) with Hudson highlands. The staff is very kind and accommodating. Dr. Polczer was very attentive to my questions and called me to give me an update after my golden was out of her spay surgery. Pickup wasn’t until 4 and she didn’t have to call me at 11, but she did! That says a lot about who she is as a person and her compassion for families. The technicians were all extremely welcoming and kind as well. They answered all of my questions with patience. We will continue recommending this vet to friends and family. 🤍

Dr McNamara and his staff are truly one of a kind. The care and love they show to furry family members makes you feel comfortable and in good hands. Our girl had CCL surgery and they sent us a photo update after and called to talk. We even were told we could call to check in on her. Very knowledgeable. Very caring.

Called around to a lot of vets to get our girl in for a time sensitive surgery. They were very helpful, responsive and honest right away. Will definitely be returning again if the need presents itself. Doctor also engaged and was playful with our dog, making her feel more at ease.. something you don't see a lot of anymore.

I was referred to Hudson Highlands by a good friend after calling 5 Vet offices about my service dog who needed TPLO surgery. Upon speaking with Tara, I was immediately put at ease as she was kind, compassionate and totally professional. It was shocking to me that 5 other veterinary offices could care less about my service dog and the lack of compassion that they communicated to me. As I explained to Tara that my dog was a cardiac service animal, she immediately sprung into action. She got me a quick appointment, greeted us at the door and made a very bad stressful situation way better. It is impossible to write just how Tara made us feed in writing but just know that her professionalism and knowledge of the surgery was incredible. Dr. McNamara (is awesome) performed the TPLO surgery and w
