I love hometown pets, Ive been going to their old location on river ave before it closed for years and had even gone before the owner switch was made and it was still called bob cat pets. I love this store, the location change to 11th took some getting used to but it’s a great store with amazing options and pricing. I love their wet cat food selection, I can close my eyes and pick a can at random and the ingredient list will pass my check. however, for cat treats I’m pretty disappointed. they have a large selection of greenies, and lick treats and they even have some treats that double as both cat and dog treat and I do love those options they’re all just freeze dried meats and organs. but when all they have for cat dental treats are greenies which are horrible for your pets health it’s a

The prices are decent. But I like them better when they were somewhere else. I've gotten mites recently on my snake and it's the only place I could have gotten them from. Nobody goes in my room and nobody handles my snake except for me. And I just bought a bunch of substrate from over there and some different types of moss and cork board for a brand new enclosure that I ordered. Now my poor snake won't get out of the damn water bowl she is so miserable and I'm going to have to spend a bunch of money on getting another enclosure so that she has something clean to switch back and forth from and I've got to get some provenamite Etc did I mention that the Moss and the cork board they charge by the pound for? It wasn't cheap. Just thinking about it makes me livid because I actually paid like 40

Always get crickets here at a good price. They have variety of crested geckos, bearded dragons, etc. they sell variety of tanks and dog treats as well. They take card and cash too! Great local pet store - crickets are cheaper here than at petsmart and Petco.

super nice, cozy experience. we adopted our baby Gaspar from here and adopted a tarantula as well. Super friendly people, and of course, where we always go for our pets' needs. If you're lucky, you might be able to pet one of the orange cats lurking, or a couple in the cattery.
