Hollister Animal Shelter

The officers that work here are so great. You can see the love they have for the animals every day. This is a very tough job and they do it with pride and caring.

Hollister Animal Shelter has been there when we’ve needed a safe place to bring lost animals. We’ve used the shelter twice to drop off lost dogs, and each time the staff was caring and focused on reuniting the animals with their owners. It’s reassuring to know the shelter takes good care of the animals and handles these situations thoughtfully. A valuable community resource.

Great staff and amazing animal shelter. We were so lucky to be able to bring home an adorable/well-behaved Great Pyrenees so our Siberian Husky can have a brother to play with and as a family companion! Highly recommend this shelter for anyone looking to adopt!

The inside is really clean. But you can hardly get in the front door for all bird poop Not to mention the overhang over the front door is full of bird poop. They to clean that.

Very friendly, caring staff when I brought in a lost pup I found wandering on a mountain road.
