Unfortunately, our recent visit ended with the heartbreaking decision to put down our sweet dog of 16 years. It was one of the most difficult moments our family has ever faced, but the entire staff made an unimaginable situation as positive and meaningful as it could possibly be. She made the process smooth and stress-free, which I truly appreciated. Today, my sweet Frankie was spayed, microchipped, received her rabies and other vaccines, and was given a 3-month flea treatment dose. So so thankful for the Hill country animal league! Ferral female cat showed up and shortly latter she became a moma and had kittens. I was able to get them all spayed and nurtured for what a vet would charge for just one cat. Ended up keeping them all as Barn cats! So thankful for the assistance these folks provided. Almost two years later the whole cat family is all together and it's so magical seeing these barn cats with their momma living their best lives.

We take our dogs to get their wellness exams for vaccines as well as the heart worm pills. All the office staff and veterinarian are very kind. They love our dogs and our dogs love them!! Great affordable pricing!

I can’t say enough good things about Hill Country Animal League’s low-cost spay/neuter clinic. Their service has been absolutely seamless every time. I love that they offer curbside service, making the whole process convenient and stress-free. Simply park during the drop-off and pickup times, and they will take care of the rest. The ability to set up appointments, fill out paperwork, and even pay through links they send via text has made everything so easy. What really stands out to me is their appointment system, especially since many low-cost options in San Antonio are first come, first serve. It’s a huge relief knowing I’ll have a spot reserved for the feral cats I’m able to trap. I've now had 8 cats spayed/neutered (a few featured in photos) here and hope to bring them several more fro
