Red Crest Pet Shop

My new favorite pet shop. Purchased multiple shrimp and fish and other aquarium needs. 3 weeks later everything is alive and healthy. Will definitely be coming back for all my needs. So many varieties of fish available and great prices. 5/5

I've been coming here for almost 10 years now. This pet shop is so great. The owner and staff are friendly and very helpful. They always help give us great advice. They will also order animals for you if you ask. Their animals are all healthy and friendly. They supply all of our needs for all of our animals, cats, fish, reptiles, amphibians, and birds. They are so much better than Petco or PetSmart. They care about their animals and they take care of them.

We were in town exploring Boerne and drove past this pet shop. The sign is faded and the building is in need of paint. However, there was nothing that would have indicated what we found inside. There were SO many varieties of fish, snakes, lizard, birds and 3 Great Pyrenees shop dogs napping throughout the store. The owner was so helpful and knowledgeable. I am so glad we stopped!

Way way way better that pet store chains - especially for fish. They know their stuff, have a great selection and are both helpful and kind. Feels like a “mom and pop” shop, very real and genuine, with people who really love animals.

This place has everything! You would not expect this kind of selection in a small town, but they can take care of just about all your pet needs. Cat, dog, small mammal, reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish both fresh water and salt. You name it. All of the animals seem alert and healthy. The owner obviously loves animals and knows his stuff.
