Highland Village Animal Shelter

Our Olde English Bulldogge, Pearl, only knows one veterinarian and that's Dr. Lorien Schoelkopf. She is so wonderful and takes the time to talk with us while also being very thorough which our fur babies deserve. She and the whole team are terrific and we're grateful for having HV Animal Medical Center in our little town. Thank you!!!

I absolutely love the staff here! My sweet Joffee was seeing Dr. Schoelkopf all the way up to his final days. After battling cancer for a few months, the staff made the goodbye process easy and peaceful. I would recommend them 100% and will continue to use their services for my other 2 dogs.

Highland village needs to upgrade this center. It is too crowded for the animals. Get some volunteers to help out here. The animals don't have shots, neutering, chipped or anything when adopted. Its free but .... The denton shelter is much better. Their animals are all vaccinated, tagged and neutered when adopted for a small fee.

We live in Oklahoma, and almost exactly a year ago (on the 29th), it will be the anniversary of when we got Dolly. I saw her on an adoption website and knew she was the perfect fit for us, so we called the shelter, and they said she was still there. The facility was clean, and the place where we met dolly was nice. I don't know what I would do without Dolly; she is a sassy but sweet dog.

We have been going to Highland Village Animal for years, and our pets have received excellent care. Also, the staff is great. They are very friendly and helpful. We wholeheartedly recommend them.
