All rescues and places that adopt out dogs need more realistic and flexible rules. There are so many dogs that need homes but they don't do background checks like they should but as long as you have a veterinarian and a secure fenced yard you can adopt. My husband and I are in our early 50's and travel a lot for our work and live in our RV and would like a tiny dog for a companion to me when I'm not running with him. But they won't adopt to us. So I have to find a breeder or flea market. Crazy.
The apparent rescue coordinator, Sue Jeffrey, belittles people online; Calls people fat, pos’, calls you and kids stupid.
