I wanted to give a huge heartfelt thank you to everyone who took care of Leo Brown these past few days. I am so touched at the compassion and accommodation you gave us during the most difficult moment in my partner's life. Dr. Kozar had her hands full with many other pets today but she took the time with us to help us know this was the most compassionate way to see our boy to the rainbow bridge. I cannot thank you enough, Dr. Kozar, it truly blessed my heart that we were able to take our boy out for his last walk around, where we laid in the grass in the warm sun with his dad until it was time. Dr. Guth is fantastic, as is the rest of the staff. She and the vet tech allowed our kittens to explore, get comfortable in the environment, answers all of our questions and provides treatment in a calm and comfortable manner. Dr. Guth, the tech on 3/8 (I'm sorry, I've forgotten her name, maybe Jenna?) were so great! Also would like the opportunity to say how absolutely wonderful Dr. Dinardo was in January 2026 when we had to say goodbye to our last cat. She, and the tech, made a really difficult situation as easy as possible. The care is exceptional and I've trusted Hickory with the care of all of my pets since 2006.

We are beyond happy with our service from the staff at Hickory Veterinary Primary Care. It was our first visit with our cat, Gracie. Dr. Jennifer Chi was so wonderful with Gracie and explained everything to us during our visit. Kayla welcomed us to Hickory and was so helpful and wonderful during our visit. Hickory is a warm and welcoming place, and we know we have chosen the best place for Gracie's care. < br />Thank you to Dr. Chi and Kayla! I was very happy and grateful for how you treated Ross, and also appreciative of how quickly he was able to be seen. This was my first time there and it was an emergency situation; from the moment I called on my way in with Ross to the moment we left, I was so pleased with the entire staff - receptionist, vet assistant, and doctor. All were amazing! Compassionate & friendly staff and ease of process were among the highlights of our visit.

Emergency visit for my almost 2 year-old Cavalier King Charles, who I was afraid may have ingested something as he was vomiting. When I called mid afternoon on a weekday, I was told to bring him in and was seen relatively quickly, had x-rays done to confirm he had not ingested anything that the x-ray picked up. I have used them before for another dog as an emergency and they are always very accommodating and I feel very comfortable with them as they are too professionals. So thankful I found them.
