Henderson Pet Resort

I love bringing my dog to this place, and she loves it too!!! This sweet baby gets all the play time she needs when I take her to HPR and comes home exhausted. I’m heading out of town to his weekend and there’s no other place I’d let her stay! Thank to the team for making sure Gemma has all the love she needs!!

Diana has been grooming our dogs for 16 years. She’s the best!! Sasha and Bella always jump up to greet her and she loves seeing them. Three years ago we lost our Cockapoo, Sammie. Diana saw our post on Facebook and sent us a very empathetic and consoling message. She helped us get through that difficult time. After Sammie passed, we adopted Sasha to give Bella a new friend. Diana has helped Sasha get over her fear of grooming. Now, they both love their spa day! Sasha is a white Terrier mix that we rescued. Bella is a Cockapoo that we bought from a breeder. We don’t shop anymore. We only adopt.

Cathy did a fantastic job on Daisy. She even took her time to give me tips on keeping her under coat thinned out for the Vegas weather as well as to minimize her shedding. Thanks Cathy! Here’s a before and after. Thanks Cathy!

On August 9th, my dog Reyna died while in the care of Henderson Pet Resort (HPR). According to HPR’s own report, Reyna was placed in her room at 4:00 p.m. Ten minutes later, staff found her unconscious with foam around her mouth. CPR was attempted, and she was rushed to VEG on Stephanie St., but she did not survive. HPR covered the emergency vet bill and the necropsy. The necropsy, performed by my veterinarian, showed mild vascular heart changes that may have caused a fatal arrhythmia. Nothing conclusive was found — all her organs appeared otherwise normal. While I appreciate that HPR paid for the necropsy, I asked to see video footage of Reyna’s final hours and a more detailed incident report. These requests were not met. We were having trouble finding a place to board our dog while traveling out of state. When I called Henderson Pet Resort, they were great. They were able to watch our Hula girl for 3 days while we went to the NFR. They gave me an update report card on Hula to give me piece of mind that she was doing well. I highly recommend if you are traveling with your beloved pet to consider them!!
