Heart of Chelsea - West Village

When I moved downtown more than 24 years ago and joined the original Heart of Chelsea, I had no idea how lucky my beloved pets would be. Marc Siebert and the medical specialists and support teams of HOC have became a pivotal part in the care of my feline family. All pet parents know we have a special responsibility when it comes to the animals we bring into our lives - love and kindness, good food and treats, thoroughly enjoyable and happy times for both, and excellent healthcare. It’s the last that I’m so grateful to Marc and the team. Of course, they’ve taken care of my kids for routine exams, but most importantly, everyone has been there for the challenging and wrenchingly sad times. What would compel two upper west siders with three jointly loved cats to “schlep” down to Hudson Street for their annual shots , evaluations and intermittent visits? In three words — Dr. Marc Siebert. And beyond that, a lovey new spacious facility and a knowledgeable effective staff that gives its all for pets owners and their pets alike. In another three words- caring, compassion and continuity that extend well beyond any one visit. Going down to HOC on Hudson is a cat troika decision. Dr Siebert and Anthony were amazing with me and my newly adopted cat, Phillip. They went the extra mile to both give him a nail trim AND walk me home because I was nervous bringing him over in an unconventional carrier. Thrilled to find a lovely team for my furry guy in the neighborhood. Thanks both!

Dr. Marc Siebert is absolutely wonderful. He was incredibly kind, patient, and gentle with my older, delicate dog, which meant everything to me. You can tell right away that he truly cares about his patients and takes the time to make both pets and owners feel comfortable. The entire staff was warm, friendly, and efficient from start to finish. The visit was smooth, unrushed, and genuinely pleasant, which is not something I say lightly about vet visits. I had an amazing experience and am so grateful to have found an office where compassion and professionalism clearly come first. Highly recommend.
