Harounian Rugs International

I met David Harounian when I was buying carpets for a prince staying at the Waldorf 30 years ago. He essentially threw me out not believing why I was there. When we spent 1.4m on the carpets and were forced to return one as it didn't fit on the plane, we became friends. I returned recently after my cancer passed and they are still going strong in a diminished field of high-quality merchants remaining in the City. We are all older, but seeing some of the remaining quality merchants, who are honest and working in this important industry is wonderful. They peddle Persian honour, art and culture, masquerading as carpets. The quality is outstanding. Go to this showroom like you are visiting a souk or gallery.
