We took our adopted reactive dog to Happy Trails for a training session today. It was easy to schedule, incredibly affordable, and after just one session we learned so much. They are so accommodating and made sure that no other dogs were coming in or out when we arrived. Everyone there was so kind and helpful. These negative reviews are insane and seem to be from people who don’t understand a foster-based rescue that helps the community vs. a shelter that can accept stray animals. Happy Trails is the only reason we are able to afford training that is helping us give our dog a better quality of life.

I am a huge review person. I have reviewed a lot of places and I always look at reviews when going places. I had a great experience with them! I called and asked if they had any wet cat food because our cats get urinary crystals often. (This was a voicemail). The next morning I got a call back from a very sweet women who said that she had a bag of science diet food that we could have. Later that day we drove about an hour to get it and when we arrived they opened the door and explained to us how it works and what the rules are. Very friendly people and very kind. Please know that they are voulenteers who want to help however they get yelled at and take so much hate from people when they are not able to help. It isn't because they don't want to it is because they don't have the supplies to

I called just wanting some details about information, I was crying honestly and just wanting to try to find a good home for this 10 month old puppy and the lady kept saying for me to get it through my head that they don't take dogs that aren't fixed and shots. I understood that so obviously it "got through my head". All I wish for is a more passionate person as I saw no passion there for me just trying to help a dog who deserves to be happy. In a good home, just like any dog at all. It wasnt right with her response to me and it could have been done more respectfully. Hope all the dogs there do find good homes, that lady was rude but not all of your faults. Keep doing good in this world. ❤️ That lady DID NOT have to be so rude.

Whoever the lady is at the front is absolutely horrible. I hope her calls are recorded and she deserves to be fired immediately. If she runs it, I feel so horrible for the staff and the animals. Karma is a big thing and when she is questioning why all of it is happening to her....she needs to look in the mirror and realize it's her fault. I feel so bad for this place with her anywhere near that establishment. Disgusting personality. Please tell her to stop hating her life. She only has one and it sounds like it's getting close to maybe just maybe start being a little kind to the world instead of how she talks and treats people. Good day...

They are great people who are really concerned about animal welfare and making sure that people and the pets are the right match. All rescues should follow the way they run this organization. Nicole has kept in contact with us regularly updated us making us feel part of Happy Trails. I'm looking forward to when they open again after the Coronavirus is lifted so I can visit. UPDATE 6/25/2022 My Labrador Daisie Rae graduated from their Service Dog training program and it was a incredible experience. I recommend this organization to anyone who is needing to train their Service Dog or for training in general. Erin and Nicole are top notch in what they do.
