Happy Fur Day

Fri night 1/31 I rehomed a 19-yr old wire-haired dachshund whose mom has dementia & family was unable to care for him. While I bathed him at my home that evening, he needed so much more. I emailed Happy Fur Day, telling them about the situation, & asking what their availability was for a groom. I got a reply back very quickly, asking if I could bring him in the next day at 2pm. When we arrived, I noticed Hoagie had found the mirror set just inside the entrance. He was looking at himself, & probably wondered who that messy-looking, chonky boy was! Happy Fur Day Fredericksburg is absolutely amazing! The staff is so kind, patient, and truly cares about the pets. My dog came home clean, happy, and looking fantastic. You can tell they treat every pet like family. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving grooming place!

My dog is usually anxious at groomers, but they were unbelievably patient and calming. He came out happy, relaxed, and looking so handsome. That alone says everything. I’m so grateful and will absolutely be a returning customer.

Our Luke was a rescue and had been groomed in June by another place which Luke didn't have a good experience. I put my faith/hands into DeDe's place and Luke was great. They have experience with working with rescues that haven't been groomed before. I highly recommend this place. Staff is wonderful.
