Top-notch grooming of my poodles! With a large, patient standard male and an active squirmy mini female, always a gorgeous groom and exactly as I've asked. Plus, everyone there is very pleasant and not at all temperamental, which also sets them apart from some other studios.

Utterly awful customer service, care, or concern. Had a terrible experience with Julie mis-quoting me for grooming for my dog and then snapping at me. When I went to pick up my dog, someone was behind the desk and they made me ring the doorbell twice before they came. Never been treated so rudely by any business I've interacted with in the past. Needless to say, take your pet somewhere else.

TL;DR: Best groomer in town! Ok, so we've been long time clients, but it is about time that I finally left a review. We've been using Hair of the Dog to groom our Portuguese Water Dog (PWD) for about 3 years now. Needless to say, we keep coming back. We've also had several interactions with Stephanie (the owner), and every time we talk, it is clear that she cares about her groomers and she cares about every one of her clients. Most recently, we wanted to update some of our grooming instructions, and she was entirely receptive and very responsive. On top of that, we got exactly what we asked for! They will butcher your dog. After wounding Mirabelle when clippering around her ear, they promised they would cover the vet bill. Then a week later, they refused because they said Mirabelle had a pre-existing ear infection. I’m very disappointed in this business. I’m also suspicious of this business having 75 5-star reviews and no 4, 3, 2, or 1 star reviews.

Hair of the Dog did an amazing job on my Samoyed! They were incredibly kind and patient with my older dog and he came home looking like a new pup. If you know Samoyeds they have incredible amounts of hair; he's never had a better grooming experience!
