UPDATE: Received a call from Gull Point about my review. I was asked to come back in and see Dr. Wood. I'm glad I did. First thing I saw when coming in the door was all new cozy chairs in the waiting area. Dr. Wood was very nice. She was the one who did the surgery on my rescue dog. I asked many questions and concerns I had. She was very patient with me. She changed my opinion of her office completely. Happy to say both our dogs are now her patients. I'm actually having a small mole removed from my dogs eye with her, this month, at a very reasonable price, as well. I love my fur-baby's Vet @gullpointanimalhospital !! Just dropped in to buy his Trifexis and get weighed. However, I've used Gull Point for all of my pups and have never been disappointed with the care they have given them.

1/9/25 Today my daughter had to say goodbye to her oldest and dearest friend of 12 years. It's never easy. But I want to personally thank Dr. Wood and her staff for being so compassionate and understanding with this delicate situation and walking my daughter through this and giving her time to say her last goodbye. Dr. Wood you and your staff are absolutely amazing and we are so glad that we decided to have you as our vet dr. for all our babies.

Gull Point Animal Hospital truly cares about your animals! I've been going to Dr. Ernest for as long as I can remember. I'm a third generation "patient" and I remember being 5 years old and going with my parents to take our animals there. Dr. Ernest is super knowledgeable, passionate and kind towards every animal and you can truly tell he loves what he does. Recently, my sweet dog got stung by a wasp for the first time last month and I immediately called them because I didn't know how he'd react. Or if he would go into aniphilactic shock. Maggie was so sweet and even though they closed in 15 minutes she was able to squeeze me in with Dr. Wood. My poor dog got stung again twice today and they were able to help me and stayed past closing time so I was able to get my dog some medication to he

We were traveling to Pensacola on vacation with our 11 year old Newfoundland. She was having some issues with her hips from dysplasia and arthritis after arriving. This vet was kind enough to get us in that morning after arriving and treated her and us with compassion and a great friendliness. He helped us all to have a wonderful and enjoying two weeks vacation without her being in pain. If I lived in this area, I would definitely recommend going to see James Ernest D.V.M at Gull point animal Hospital.
