I had been eager to get in as a new patient at Guilderland Animal Hospital since it is close to my house! They were so kind and made my nervous beagle feel very comfortable! They suggested care to consider in the future but were not at all pushy. Glad to be patients!

Fallen completely off the deep end. We'd been going to GAH for years, and what was a slow decline has gotten faster. The prices have been skyrocketing, with lots of extra charges and upselling services. They make you pay $100 just to renew a prescription. When you arrive, expect to wait half an hour after your appointment before someone brings you into a room to wait some more, but heaven forbid you're more than five minutes late. If, say, it's snowing and the roads are terrible, and you call ahead to let them know you're going to be late, they won't hold your appointment for 3 extra minutes (they'd agreed, on the phone, to a ten minute window). Great customer service. Bella, our dog has being going here for years. I am so happy with the way the vet and team are there. Starting from the entrance to check out, you feel how much there care and the positive vibes. Just a great environment which allows for a nice place to visit with your pet. They are genuine about the care they give her and the customer service. Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure our pet needs are met. Thank you very much.

Guilderland is a great vet. All of the staff from the front desk to the vet techs to the vet truly care about your animal. We go there for routine care for multiple dogs and cats, and I have spent a lot of time/appointments here with sick dogs and I always feel welcome, listened to, and well cared for. I have a pretty reactive and sometimes difficult dog and the staff are always so great with him, careful and understanding. Their communication is excellent, both via email and phone. Prices are extremely reasonable and normal for good vet care in 2024. Honestly, you get what you pay for, and cheaper is not usually better in this field.
