Grooming By The Canal

I had such a great experience here! They did an amazing job grooming my husky, River. He looked incredible and smelled so good when I picked him up. The customer service was wonderful, and you can really tell they care about the dogs. They even gave him extra love with treats and playtime, which meant so much to me. I will definitely be bringing River back. Highly recommend! 🐾💙

I’ve been taking our senior beagle and senior long haired cat to Grooming By the Canal for almost a year now. Ashley and Caitlyn have both been phenomenal. Our beagle gets anxious over nail trims due to past trauma but Grooming at the Canal was willing to take on the challenge and work with her. They know that she likes to listen to lullabies and have music ready for her, and treat her with kindness and compassion. The salon itself is clean and they’re very serious about both pet and human safety in order to make it a positive experience for everyone. They also do a thorough job. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a pet groomer.

We brought our Irish Setter, Lennon, to Grooming by the Canal for the first time today and were thoroughly impressed with the services she was provided. It’s so hard to find someone trustworthy to leave your dog with and we left feeling incredibly comfortable and will now go nowhere else moving forward. Ashley is the ONLY groomer who will be grooming our dogs! She treats them like family. She’s so patient with our crazy morkie, and she never makes our doodles look like poodles. We absolutely love her!!

I needed to find a groomer closer to Fairport…upon extensive research, I found THE ONE! Grooming by the Canal was highly recommended locally, so glad we found them. They truly love doggies and were so welcoming to my 1 1/2 year old goldendoodle, Seamus. His groomer, Julia, was so very sweet, listened to my concerns and requests. She did an amazing job! I love her calm demeanor and I know Seamus appreciated it too. Thank you all so much for a great first time experience. :)
