Finding a groomer who understands the needs of a service dog handler isn’t easy, but Jennifer at Groom went above and beyond. She was so kind and thoughtful in making arrangements so I could remain nearby without being separated from my dog. That level of care and understanding meant everything to me. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and I really appreciate that they don’t use crates. The entire team was professional and kind, and Jennifer personally oversees everything, which shows how much she truly cares about the dogs and their owners. I’m so grateful for this experience.

Cannot emphasize enough how pleased we are with our GROOM! experience! Jennifer called me prior to scheduling and we talked in detail about how we wanted our Cocker Spaniel to be groomed. She and Mirna also called me mid-groom to let me know that Moriarity’s previous grooming (done elsewhere and not fitting the breed’s usual look) would mean we need to wait for regrowth in some areas and the wanted to make sure we were onboard with their plans. Excellent communication. And while I was picking up, Jennifer mentioned that our pup had a few accidents w/in a short time frame so I may want to consult his vet. Turns out our poor boy had a urinary tract infection that we’d not tuned into. Thank you, Jennifer! We are very happy clients and are happy to recommend GROOM! To all.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As a pampered pup who loves to strut my stuff, I have to say that Groom Pet Grooming Salon in Silver Spring is simply pawsome! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The groomers here are incredibly patient and attentive. They took the time to understand exactly how I wanted my fur styled, and trust me, they delivered! The designer cuts are absolutely fabulous! I left looking sharp and feeling like a superstar. It’s clear they pay attention to the little details, making sure every snip is perfect. Not only do I get treated like royalty during my grooming sessions, but the whole experience is stress-free and tailored just for me. My human always tips generously because they truly deserve it. You get what you pay for. Switched to Groom last year because from my DC based groomer due to cost and location. I gave it 4 tries but this place is disappointing. The staff is not particularly welcoming and is borderline rude. It very much feels like a factory in there.they dont say much, just take yoir dog, confirm a cut and take them Away. When you pick your dog up they just bring them to the door, ask for payment and move on. Not hospitable, no updates on how the dog tolerated anything. Just in and out. The cuts are inconsistent and not very precise. My dogs visit in December 2025 was completed in about an hour and it usually takes hour 20. The hair around his face was cut in different directions on each side, which confirms that the service was rushed at that time. For this Month’

Absolutely love GROOM! They always get us in quickly for our 2 pups and they listen. We never want them too short and GROOM has done the best job ever. Our boys always come home happy and adorable!
