Academy Dog Training

We’ve been really happy with our private lesson + group class package with Jason. Our dog Lady adores him and has a blast. What sold us on the Academy was the ability to drop into group classes, even after she “graduated.” I have no doubt that this will be useful for refreshers for both of us in the future!

SUCH a treasure for high intensity dogs. My Doberman German Shepherd Husky Lab mix needed something much more than the local trainers offered. They did well with him, but his ability to stay on task with them was lacking. We did Doggie Boot Camp for three weeks, every day, all day, and he started from ground zero and went to a 10 minute down - stay at 50 yards (with me, not the trainers) by week 8 (follow up classes). Academy and the amazing team there were a life saver for us, and for anyone who has one of those breeds that you NEED to have perfect training for.

Trained our Irish wolfhound here. This is an excellent facility if you want your dog to be well behaved. We also board our dog which is an option after theyve done some initial training. Will continue to keep going back!

We just finished training with our two puppies. The progress has been amazing, and we can't thank the crew and the owners enough for all their work, support, and encouragement. I can tell that Loki enjoyed the training, too, and she fawns over her trainers whenever she sees them. We'll definitely be back for some of the advanced training classes!

We put a new rescue into daycare training after he developed some leash reactivity we couldn’t fix ourselves. The entire crew at Academy is terrific- each of them know dogs and know how to train them. Our reactive mutt still isn’t perfect but he’s light years ahead of where he was when we started. If you have a dog, with it without a problem, give Academy a try. Our initial consult w Jason took an hour- way more time (and way more thorough) than any place we talked to. Bohdi is now in group lessons and doing great. Three months ago, I would have said NEVER will he be able to handle group lessons with multiple dogs. Well, thanks to academy, he doesn’t just “handle” the group lessons, he loves them.
