Groom My Friend

Today my 4-pound toy poodle, Milo, had an appointment with Juniper at Groom My Friend in Monticello. Juniper was incredibly kind and gentle with him, and I could immediately tell she genuinely cares for dogs and enjoys what she does. One of the most important things I look for in a groomer is a strong focus on safety, so I really appreciated that they asked for a rabies certificate upfront. It gave me peace of mind knowing they prioritize the well-being of the pets in their care. When I picked Milo up, he smelled like a sugar cookie and looked absolutely amazing! Poodles can be a challenge to brush out, but Juniper did a fantastic job—he was fluffy, soft, and perfect. I also love the quaint atmosphere of this location. This place is amazing. My dog is...let's say difficult..regarding baths and grooming. The team here is so kind and patient, and clearly genuinely cares about building a good relationship with your dog. Truly impressed.

Always a fantastic experience at Groom My Friend! and I can’t say enough good things about Nina! She is absolutely wonderful with Jerry—kind, patient, and incredibly skilled. Jerry is a puppy and new to grooming, but Nina put him at ease right away. She took the time to get to know him, and it showed in how relaxed and happy he was afterward. Not only did he come back looking sharp and clean, but he also seemed like he genuinely enjoyed the experience. The whole team at Groom was friendly and professional, and the shop itself is clean, welcoming, and clearly run with care. Holly and Alex came this morning and groomed our 81lb German Shepherd and did an AMAZING job. I could tell that our pup felt safe and relaxed with them, and she came back in looking like a brand new girl. Super impressed.
