We are always treated like family. Our Yorkies (litter mates) have been receiving annual wellness visits, dentals, vaccines, treatments, and TLC for about13 years! We can't say enough good things about Dr. Cate and her crew of caring and talented clinicians, techs, and staff at Greater South River Animal Hospital in Edgewater, MD.

Unprofessional and terrible diagnosticians both Dr. Gately-Dean and Dr. Doherty. Dr. Gately-Dean misdiagnosed our cat's meningioma for a cardiac issue despite obvious neurological symptoms. Cats and Dogs in Bowie ultimately handled the case and said the case wasn't wisely handled from the onset which wasted valuable time. Errors and omissions of medical notes in our cats' medical records have required my attention to repeatedly correct. And Dr. Doherty has recently placed a passive aggressive note in our cat's record that was simply not reflective of the discussion we had in his clinic after he examined my cat. He had said there COULD be a polyp in my cat's ear but it also could just be inflamed and he prescribed Tresaderm. The Tresaderm worked and when we came back for a refill he had m

The friendliest group of vets and techs you’ll come across and always making an effort to get you in for appointments as soon as possible. They have a great schedule that accommodates weekends and late hours. Plus the vets truly treat your pets like their own and go the extra mile to ensure their care. My dogs have been going to them for 8 years. Pricing is beyond reasonable as well! Wouldn’t go anywhere else
