Great Neck Pet Grooming

Requested to have my dog cut/shaved here. I was not clear on how short so they shaved her super short. I am okay with that, but what I am not okay with is how horribly botched it is. My son dropped her off at 11am and decided to go up there at 2:30pm to check on her and they said she wasn’t ready. He picked her up at 3:30pm, paid $150, got her home and realized how bad she looked. So she probably sat in a crate for 4hours and then rushed to get her done. I got home and immediately took her back up there to find out why her shave was so bad. The lady was very confrontational and kept saying “it’s because the hair grows in a different direction in that spot”. What? They’ve made our dogs beautiful every time! Edit: still very happy with the services! They do such a great job with our 15-year-old senior. He has arthritis and a serious heart condition so I don’t trust taking him many places, but they have taken good care of him and made him look so handsome! Recently he has developed a sore on his mouth, which is likely cancerous and will not heal. He’s tried to take a chunk out of our hand every time we approach him to clean it to treat it. I told Great Neck Pet Grooming they likely wouldn’t be able to get close to it when they cut him, but to my shock, the entire area was perfectly clean when I picked him up. So much easier to treat now. I don’t know how they did it!

First time customer; My golden has never looked nor felt better. Seriously, she's *so* soft, and her haircut makes her look like a show dog. It had been awhile since she'd been to a groomer, so I asked them to give her the works. That was a bit expensive, but she needed it and i regret nothing. I was a tad late coming to get her after work, but they didn't mind. I picked her up, she was energetic, in good spirits, and *fully dry.* These ppl know what they're doing and don't mess around. I will be returning!

It's always great. It's expensive but you get quality grooming.

I have had 2 cats groomed here lately. Both had unique hair/fur and personality issues. This couple is so kind and take time to chat to insure they give you the results you want. Cats are not easy animals to groom. I have had poor results from more than one local well rated place. This is the one for me. Great job. Cats not stressed and did a super job on each of them. I say a number of dogs in there and they all looked super as well. It was clean and smelled good and you could see what was happening. Loved it and you must try it.
