We lost our sweet little buddy back in September. My daughter and I were at a high school football game when I found out my husband and eldest son were headed to the emergency vet with Rocco. My daughter and I immediately left the game and headed there too. We arrived and received devastating news. We knew it was time to let Rocco go. He was suffering. They brought Rocco into us on his bed. They allowed us to spend as much time with him as needed. We waited for our younger son to arrive. We recently had to make one of the hardest decisions of our lives for our 10 year old Golden Retriever, Tucker. Before coming to Furgent Care, we had taken him to another vet who seemed to be sugar coating his condition. Deep down, we knew something wasn’t right, so we decided to seek another opinion. At Furgent Care, Dr. Prock examined Tucker and was very straightforward about how serious his condition truly was. While honest and direct, he delivered the news with so much care, compassion, and sympathy. He took the time to clearly explain how severe Tucker’s illness was, what the next steps would realistically look like, and what our options were. I can’t say enough good things about this place. While no one ever wants to find themselves in a position to have to go to a place like this, I recommend this place 100% if you do have to. Everyone here is so caring and truly tries to help in every way that they can. My baby Asher swallowed something he shouldn’t have and they took care of him every step of the way between Saturday and Sunday, when I was an absolute mess. They made the entire process so smooth and set everything up for us so Asher could be taken straight to a facility for surgery. They treated both him and us with respect, compassion, and sympathy. Such a warm and inviting place to take your furry loved ones. They will be in good hands!

Words could not explain how amazing this place is. The staff, Dr. Prock, Marta, Kaylee, Deja, and Marissa have been PERFECT throughout this entire process. Asher, our little baby boy decided to eat something that he shouldn’t. We kept an eye on him and finally called to be seen. We were seen right away (due to the time we came in and the weather). DR. Prock, dude you were so damn good. He showed genuine compassion and really cared about our boy. I will say the same about Marissa??? I’m sorry if I didn’t give the right name.
