We adopted ❤️ a new member of our family 🐈 Aurora has been in her new home 🏠 for a couple of hours and she is already jumping on the couch and watching bird videos on YouTube..lol. The wonderful and friendly staff were very informative and supportive. We love our new baby 👶

Great staff, friendly and helpful. Small facility at a capacity of only 44 for all of Grant County. Got one of my cats from them he is the biggest lover.

I’m creating this review on behalf of my mother. My mother recently decided that she wanted to adopt another husky because her 1st one had passed away. When she entered Grant County Animal Outreach she was greeted with friendly and helpful staff. My mom spotted an older husky with beautiful silver fur, then she walked the dog on a leash around the parking lot several times to make sure she wasn’t too much to handle. The dog was a great walker! Next, my mom wanted to make sure she would be a good pet for her, and adjust to her house, and to her yard in the country. My mother asked the staff if she could foster for 7 days, and the friendly staff agreed this is the best way to get to know a dog. They assisted by providing food and her medication. Have adopted here a few times, with new management the shelter has definitely improved. Staff very friendly and work very well with the resources that they have! 10/10 would adopt from here again.

Thank you, GCAO! We made the 2 hour drive to see a puppy and got there almost at closing time. We appreciate you letting us take our time and to meet a different dog than the one we originally came to see. She has been a joy in our home ever since! The process was easy and fun. The staff were all so nice and shared some funny stories about our little gal. Thanks again for a positive interaction.
