They didn’t touch or exam my senior pet they just pushed for an euthanasia appointment offer to refill her seizure meds and pain and anxiety meds when they thought I was returning for a next day appointment I called cancelled appointment stating this is a family pet and it has to be a family decision they agreed stating I can always reschedule when We are ready to euthanize we’ve came to the conclusion that she has life left in her she is still asking to go out barks at the mailman and has a big appetite so I decided to obtain her refill to continue her care then I was met with attitude sarcastic responses because I missed her 1st euthanasia appointment and in two weeks had not rescheduled now they’re refusing to give her life saving medication knowing without her meds she would surely det
I can’t express how great my experience was here, from the front desk and everything after was the best customer service. I originally had another appointment at another good vets location that I canceled because I was able to get in at Wicker Park. The other location ended up canceling both my appointments so when I showed up to Wicker Park, they did not have me on the schedule. This was a first time visit for my cat, so I was nervous they weren’t going to take him since the appointment was canceled. Not only did they take us, there wasn’t even a chance for me to sit and wait they took us right away. I seen the vet tech 1 minute in to my appointment and the doctor shortly after. Not only was I in and out quickly. I was treated so well and my cat was so well cared for, the doctor educated
Our experience at GoodVets Wicker Park was fantastic. Dr. Vercauteren was kind and gentle with my cat, performing a thorough examination. She took the time to answer my questions and offer helpful care tips. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and I appreciated that they didn't pressure us into unnecessary tests or procedures. The facility is modern, comfortable, and clean. Furthermore, their website/app made scheduling an appointment and sending medical records easy. Their pricing is also very reasonable and fully transparent. I highly recommend GoodVets!
We’ve been bringing our dogs here for a while, but ever since Dr. Kim left the level of empathy and quality has completely disappeared. Both of our dogs have come home violently ill after what should have been simple, routine procedures. When we called to express concern, it took a week for them to get back to us about one of our dogs. And for the most recent incident, we were told after the fact our other dog had been “extremely stressed and anxious” — something we were never informed of during discharge, and completely out of character for him. He has never shown anxiety at the vet until recent visits. What’s most disappointing is the lack of compassion or accountability from the staff. There was no genuine concern for how our pets were doing, just excuses. It’s clear that something ha
If I could give 0 stars I would. First, I called to ask if they had any available appointments or if they accept walk-ins I was told no. I go on their website and they had few different appointments available for that day! I booked them and everything was fine and cool. I wanted to make sure that my kitties didn’t have any fleas or ticks I made sure to ask when I got there to get them checked and made sure to ask before I left that they were checked and they didn’t have anything. I was told they were fine and didn’t have anything. I decided to take them to my regular groomer, she took one look at them and in .2 seconds I was told they have fleas. IN .2 SECONDS! I also wanted to see the genders of my new kittens and was told they were both girls. WRONG, my groomer told me that one is a girl
