GoodVets Castle Rock

I was nervous about looking for a new vet for our dog after moving to Castle Rock. After some research, we landed on Dr. Jacobson. I am SO glad we did. My dog is extremely anxious at the vet, and Dr. Jacobson’s friendly demeanor puts our dog and us (the humans) at ease. She is very attentive, detail-oriented, and her love/passion for animals shows each and every time we visit. She truly listens and acknowledges our concerns, and our dog gets the care he deserves. 10/10 recommend Dr. Jacobson! *It’s a huge bonus that we always get to be in the exam room with our boy. That was very important to us. The GoodVets app is also super user friendly!*

My dog loves the staff here, everybody is very kind and informative and wants nothing but the best for my girl. She got her dental done here and the team was amazing at providing updates and took such great care of her. We have the wellness plan and it’s such a great deal, I 10/10 would recommend although it’s a monthly charge it saves me quite a bit in the long run. Special shoutout to Bella, Rachel, Dr. Jacobson and Dr. Fuentes for being so kind to my little monster.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. I took my cat here because he was peeing blood and not acting himself. We thought it was a UTI or crystals. We told our vet everything and let her know what’s been going on so she suggested to do a urinary test. When the test was done, they told us they found nothing and sent us home with three ibuprofen and said it was inflammation. Well, that was a bunch of BS. A week later I had to rush my cat into emergency Surgery Because he almost died from having crystals, they said that his bladder was as hard as a table and that the previous vet a.k.a. good vets should have been able to catch this. I called and let them know that I would like to speak to someone about this situation a week ago and they don’t even have the decency to call me back.Thanks for your neglect.

My dog Tobi was throwing up blood and my (former) vet told me they didn’t have time to see him. I took him to the GoodVets team and they saw him in 45 minutes. Tobi is recovering thanks to the great work by Dr. Fuentes and his team. They are my new vet and Tobi & I are very happy about that.

I had just moved to Castle Rock and needed a vet, but unfortunately had a disappointing experience at this clinic and won’t be returning. From my first visit, the atmosphere felt impersonal and transactional. The quote they gave me for a dental cleaning was $1000 more than the quote I got from my previous vet to add perspective. During my most recent visit, I brought my dog in for urinating blood , something she had never experienced before. I was quoted $92 for the exam and $165 for a urine test, which felt high compared to other vets I’ve used. I did express surprise at the cost. After testing, I was told she had a high pH and crystals in her urine. The vet focused on discussing her recessed vulva and recommended prescription diet food.
