Nancy is an amazing trainer focused on fear-free positive reinforcement methods and has earned extensive credentials in this area. We are lucky to have to have her level of expertise locally. She helped me immensely with a rescue dog that was very worried about a lot of things and more recently has helped with our new giant puppy to get him started off in the right direction. He now loves car rides because he thinks he might get to go see Nancy!! I have done both group and private classes-both options are well worth the money.

We have taken several classes with Nancy since adopting Jo Jo as a puppy, as well as some individual training sessions. Jo Jo ADORES Nancy. We like her a lot, too. She has been patient with my 101 questions. Nancy takes great care to keep classes small and make sure each dog is comfortable, and that they are a good fit for the class. Nancy is aware of the emotional state of every dog in class - it’s like she has eyes on the sides and back of her head! Dogs are spaced adequately to prevent overexcitement or stress, and lessons or spacing are adjusted as needed to accommodate the needs of individual dogs. Another reviewer mentioned a dog barking the entire time. I find that difficult to believe as I have never seen Nancy NOT address any behavior that would indicate a dog is stressed or ove

Nancy has been my go-to dog support person for 5 years, from training my unruly rescue puppy to supporting me through a tragedy with a foster pup I wanted to adopt and finally hooking me up with a breeder & helping me with my dream dog. Nancy is knowledgeable, forthright, honest and cares deeply about the outcome of the dog/human relationship. My animals have always felt so safe and comfortable in her space & she does her best to create boundaries with physical or visual cues to help when younger or inexperienced dogs learn in a new setting that sometimes feels overwhelming. Couldn’t recommend Nancy more!

I can’t recommend Nancy enough! I sent my 8 month old puppy to her for a four-day board and train, and the experience was incredible. Nancy treated Amaya like her own, using force-free, positive reinforcement to build her confidence and manners in real-world settings and take the first step toward becoming my service dog. I got updates at least once a day and Amaya came home happier, more focused, and eager to learn. Nancy’s expertise, patience, and genuine love for dogs make her an exceptional trainer. She prioritizes a dog’s happiness and wellbeing above all else, and I can’t wait to see what we do next!

My rough collie just finished up a group class with Gooddogz Training, and Nancy was absolutely phenomenal to work with. She really honed in on each dog even in the group setting and knew exactly how to tackle each one's struggles, and also how to hype up their successes and keep them focused. Her training studio was well kept as well as nice and quiet to really focus on bringing out the best in our dogs, and I loved how she demonstrated each skill to clearly teach us how to best train our pups! We will absolutely be back for more fun in the future ♥
