I can’t say enough good things about Thoma and Meg. I bring my almost 2-year-old Dutch Shepherd to Thoma for bite work and obedience training, and the experience has been nothing short of amazing. Thoma is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and thoughtful in his approach. His training style is very play- and reward-based, which my dog absolutely thrives on. He’s also a fantastic decoy, my dog genuinely loves working with him and is always excited to train. What really stands out to me is how supportive Thoma is, not just to the dogs but to the handlers as well. On tougher training days, he’s always encouraging and takes the time to remind me that progress isn’t always about big wins sometimes it’s the small ones that matter most, and one hard day doesn’t define the journey. I have learned so much from both Meg and Thoma! They’re very thoughtful dog trainers who’ve now created a great in-person community in Southern California for people to connect with each other and their dogs. They tend to attract really friendly, well intended dog owners and enthusiasts… which, to me, says a lot about them and their club. Definitely recommend training with them.

With Meg and Thoma's guidance, my dog successfully went on his first pack hike ever! The structure of having them to teach loose-leash walking, trail manners, and dog neutrality was so helpful. I highly recommend as they were super friendly and created a welcoming environment.
