Goldens and Hounds Grooming Salon

I needed a groomer who is gentle and patient with dogs to help our 6 month old Shih Tzu puppy ease into the grooming routine. A local pet store ("I'll Be Doggone" in Mokena) recommended this location, and the reviews looked great. I booked an appointment and spoke with the groomer over the phone that same day. When I finally dropped off Kyoma, the groomers talked to me about what their game plan was, and let me know that they would call me throughout the process. The communication was great, and very much appreciated since I was nervous about how the little guy would do. I had no idea, but dogs with this coat type have an adult coat of fur that grows in around this age and gets tangled in with the existing puppy coat. First time at Goldens and Hounds. Very pleased with our experience. Our little girl looks wonderful and smells so good. She loves showing off her shamrock bandana. We highly recommend Goldens and Hounds to anyone looking for a qualified groomer.

Finding a new groomer is always tough. We made a great decision to try Caitlin at Goldens and Hounds! She did a great first groom with Gracie and we already booked our 2nd appointment.

Christian is great! My dog always looks so well groomed and smells so good when I pick him up and you can tell Christian really cares about the dogs. Highly recommend!
