Golden Wood, Chambersburg

This was our first time sending Ollie to a kennel so was worried but the staff at Goldenwood took great care of him!! They communicated with us every day on how he was doing. They offer several extra services like playtime and treats and then also sent us a few pictures. I would highly recommend them!!

Golden Wood is definitely the place to go for doggie daycare, boarding, or bathing services! Emily, Faith, Danae, Summer, Abby, and Krysta do an amazing job caring for your pets and caring for you as well! It is clear everyone has a passion and a lot of knowledge about pets! There are always smiling faces when you walk into the office, and an excitement to see your pets! There is also an option for the Sunroom Suite, which is separate from the main resort as a quiet and spacious space for your cats or dogs! They are always quick to communicate with owners, and if you add on any play services, you can get a report card with a picture of our pet! They also offer doggie daycare and a group play add-on for boarding reservations, so your dog can socialize with other dogs! You will always be hap

We have two small dogs and kennel them together three or four times a year. We tried four other boarders over the last 10 years before a friend recommended Golden Wood. We won't be trying any more. The facility is amazing, and there are lots of options for treats and extras. The staff is always awesome—we always forget something and they always help us work out a hiccup. They are the BEST.

We have used Goldenwood for numerous stays for our dog Cooper. As soon as we turn into the driveway, he gets excited and is always exhausted from his time there. I will not go anywhere else, Cooper loves it there as well as we do.

Our dog, Buddy, is our foster dog we saved from a high kill shelter. He always comes back calm and happy from Golden Wood. It’s a great place!
